Instructions

Wash chicken with water and lemon juice or vinegar, rinse and drain properly, pat dry. I like to make two slices on the skin side of the chicken thighs, it helps with seasoning as well as with cooking time in a small bowl combine all dry seasonings with soy sauce mix well to combine. Pour oil onto chicken making sure both sides are properly coated, rub season and soy sauce mixture into chicken being sure both sides are coated properly as well as under the skin and in the slices you made. Cover and marinade for at least 1 hour. Preheat air fryer on 375. Remove hot air fryer basket, lay it on a flat pan to prevent mess, then spray with cooking oil. Layer chicken pieces skin side down for 25 minutes, remove and flip cook for another 20 minutes. In the mean time for the glaze, combine the honey, balsamic vinegar and the juice from the cooked chicken, water and honey in a skillet, and minced garlic cook stirring continuously for 4 minutes. Drizzle over cooked chicken.
