INGREDIENTS
  • 2 lbs. • sweet potatoes
  • 1/3 cup • brown sugar
  • 1/3 white • sugar
  • 2 sticks • unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp • cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp • ground ginger (fresh grated ginger is also fine)
  • 1 tsp • ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp • vanilla extract
  • • ¼ cup water
Instructions
  1. Peel potatoes and cut into desired sizes an thickness. Wash potatoes
  2. Preheat oven to 350, in the meantime in a sauce pan melts butter, add all the dry ingredients and mix well to combine. Layer potatoes in baking dish pour water in the dish, then layer butter and other ingredients mixture on each layer of potatoes. Cover and bake for 1 hour, remove cover and bake 20 minutes uncovered.
