This is a quick simple side dish that pairs with most if not all protein. It is great because it is easy and anyone can make it , also it is pasta and who does not like pasta.
INGREDIENTS
• Box uncooked orzo pasta
3 • garlic (minced)
2 • water
• Salt to taste
1stick • unsalted butter
• ½ cup parmesan cheese (more if you would like)
Instructions
Bring water to a boil, add salt and Orzo, In the meantime, melt butter and add garlic, sauté about 3 minutes. Cook Orzo halfway through about 5 minutes, then add melted butter with sauté garlic, stir and combine well. Add parmesan cheese and mix to combine well. Cover and let the pasta finish cooking about another 5 to 6 minutes.
Note: You can also add some broccoli florets about a cup worth add it at the time you add the butter and garlic.
