Looking for a simple, quick, and delicious meal? Also, on healthy and depending on whether it is served with rice or pasta, can be ready in 30 minutes. Then here it is. This is a simple weeknight recipe as well as for lunch, which is great whether you work from home or outside the home.

Note: I have served this dish with white rice as well as over linguini pasta.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 • uncooked shrimp
  • 1 cup • imitation crab meat chopped up (can use actually crab of course)
  • 1 • white onion (sliced)
  • • ½ red onion (sliced)
  • 4 (diced)
  • 2 • onions (chopped in 3 pieces each)
  • 8 • of garlic (minced)
  • 3 • sprigs thyme (remove leaves from sprigs)
  • • ½ tsp salt (divided ¼ n ¼)
  • 2 teaspoons • black pepper (divided 1n1)
  • 2 • paprika (1n1)
  • 2 teaspoons • creole seasoning (divided 1n1)
  • 2 teaspoons • old bay seasoning (divided 1n1)
  • 1 teaspoon • cayenne pepper
  • 1 stick • of butter
  • 4 tablespoons • olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon • fresh lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons • water from pasta, or just unsalted seafood broth
Instructions
  1. Wash and clean shrimp, In saucepan, heat olive oil, then sauté onions and garlic, about 3 minutes. In the meantime, pat dry clean shrimp and seasoned with ½ of each dry seasoning., except for the cayenne pepper. Add tomatoes to pan and sauté another 3 to 5 minutes. Seasoned with remaining dry seasoning including cayenne pepper, mix and combine well. Add the seasoned shrimp and stir in to combine, cook for about 10 to 12 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the chopped imitation crab meat and the butter, as well as the liquid, stir and combine well.
  2. Note: If you use un cook crab meat please add at the time you add shrimp. If you use cooked crab meat from can, then add the same time as you did imitation crab meat.
