INGREDIENTS
  • 1/12 cup uncooked rice
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 1 green onion (cut in half, theninto strips)
  • 1/2 onion (sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (sliced)
  • 3 sticks fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, sazon seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon organic turmeric powder
Instructions
  1. DIRECTIONS
    Heat olive oil on medium heat, add garlic, and onions and sauté for 2 minutes, add turmeric powder and stir constantly for 1 minute. Add water, all the dry seasonings, bring to a boil and green onions, thyme, and butter. Add washed rice, cover, and cook for 25 minutes. Use a fork and fluff your rice. Tip You can substitute 1cup of the water for coconut milk.
