This crispy honey chicken features tender boneless skinless chicken breasts coated in a light flour and cornstarch mixture, then fried to golden perfection and finished with a sweet, sticky honey glaze. Perfect for a quick and delicious weeknight meal!

INGREDIENTS
    • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup • all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp • cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup • honey
  • 3 tbsp • low sodium light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp • orange pepper
  • 1 tsp • lemon pepper
  • 2 tsp • smoked paprika , onion powder, garlic powder, sazon, black pepper, (divided 1n1)
  • 2 tbsp • olive oil (divided)
  • 1/3 cup • vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp • butter
  • • Juice of ½ lemon
  • • Pinch of salt
  • 4 cloves • of garlic (minced)
  • • Pinch of ginger (minced or grated)
  • 4 tbsp • hot water
  • 1 tsp • 1 cornstarch and 2 tbsp water for cornstarch slurry

    Prepare the Chicken:

    Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch bite-sized pieces.

    In a bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

    In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.

    Coat the Chicken:

    Dip each piece of chicken into the egg, then dredge in the flour mixture. Press lightly to ensure coating sticks well.

    Fry the Chicken:

    Heat oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat (about 350°F/175°C).

    Fry the chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per batch.

    Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

    Make the Honey Glaze:

    In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey and soy sauce (if using). Stir until warmed through.

    Add a tablespoon of water if the glaze is too thick.

    Toss & Serve:

    Place the fried chicken in a large bowl and drizzle the honey glaze over top.

    Toss gently to coat all the chicken pieces evenly.

    Garnish with sesame seeds or red pepper flakes if desired.
