This recipe is a staple breakfast in Jamaica, but it can also be a snack. So if you make them in the morning for breakfast, do not be afraid to make a little extra and save some as a snack, expecially if you have children.
- • ¾ lbs. salt fish
- 2 • all-purpose flour
- 2 • onions (diced)
- 4 • fresh thyme (remove leaves)
- 1 • tomato (diced)
- 1 • bonnet pepper (finely diced remove all seeds or leave some, or all)
- • ½ tsp salt, black pepper, garlic powder
- 1 • cup water
- 1/3 • cup oil
