BROWN SUGAR MAPLE GLAZED SALMON

The salmon is marinated in a mix of soy sauce, olive oil, maple syrup, and an array of spices including nutmeg, thyme, paprika, and ginger. After marinating, the salmon is baked to perfection and topped with a rich, buttery maple glaze, creating a deliciously caramelized crust. Cut salmon into desired pieces, wash in salt water and rinse. In a small bowl, in a small bowl combine, 1 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tsp dried parsley, and the remaining dry seasonings except for ground ginger and mix well to combine. Pat dry salmon, layer baking dish with remaining 1 tbsp olive oil, season salmon well on both sides with seasoning mixture. Cover and set aside for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350 cover and bake for 30minutes. In a small bowl, combine remaining soy sauce, remaining maple syrup, with pinch of fresh ground ginger a pinch of nutmeg, water and cornstarch, mix well and combine in a saucepan add butter, when butter melts, add sugar stir r continuously till sugar dissolves, add liquid mixture, stir continuously for about 2 minutes, until you get right thickness. Remove salmon from oven, then pour half of the sauce on salmon pieces. Put back in the oven uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes.
