This crispy honey chicken features tender boneless skinless chicken breasts coated in a light flour and cornstarch mixture, then fried to golden perfection and finished with a sweet, sticky honey glaze. Perfect for a quick and delicious weeknight meal!

  2. Prepare the Chicken:
  3. Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch bite-sized pieces.
  4. In a bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
  6. Coat the Chicken:
  7. Dip each piece of chicken into the egg, then dredge in the flour mixture. Press lightly to ensure coating sticks well.
  8. Fry the Chicken:
  9. Heat oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat (about 350°F/175°C).
  10. Fry the chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per batch.
  11. Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  12. Make the Honey Glaze:
  13. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey and soy sauce (if using). Stir until warmed through.
  14. Add a tablespoon of water if the glaze is too thick.
  15. Toss & Serve:
  16. Place the fried chicken in a large bowl and drizzle the honey glaze over top.
  17. Toss gently to coat all the chicken pieces evenly.
  18. Garnish with sesame seeds or red pepper flakes if desired.
  19. Serve hot with rice, noodles, or vegetables.
