Cook pasta using directions on the box, adding 1 tsp salt to pasta water. In the meantime, heat 1 tbsp olive oil in skillet and brown sausage about 3 minutes on each side. Remove sausage from pan, then add remining ½ tbsp olive oil to pan, add garlic, and onions and cook for 3 minutes until softened, add tomatoes and cook another 3 minutes, until tomatoes are also softened, add all the dry seasonings and mix well to combine, ( no salt is added as the pasta is cooked in salt and sausages are usually salty, but you can taste here and decide. After adding the dry seasonings, add butter, when the butter melts add the cooked pasta in and using a tongue mix well to combine, if needed add a little liquid from pasta water, add the cooked sausage and continue to stir well to combine.
