SPICY CHICKEN CHOW MEIN

Description

A simple delicious, chicken and pasta recipe, this is made spicy, but spice can be adjusted. It is also quick and can be added to your 30 minutes meal recipes, so be sure to add to your weekly meal plan rotation 

INGREDIENTS

• 2 small packs of instant chow Mein

• 3 regular size boneless skinless chicken thighs (washed trimmed and cut in bite size pieces)

• 1 stack celery (washed and cut in desired pieces (I like long thin slices’

• 2 carrots (peeled and cut into desired pieces (I like thinly cut strips

• Pinch of ginger (grated)

• 4 cloves of garlic (minced)

• 1 small onion (diced)

• Small piece of cabbage (thinly shredded)

• ¼ tsp salt

• 2 tsp black pepper (divided 1n1)

• ½ tsp garlic powder

• ¼ tsp smoked paprika

• ½ tsp onion powder

• 1 tbsp brown sugar

• 1 tsp red pepper flakes

• 6 tbsp 1 tsp low sodium soy sauce

• 1 tbsp dark soy sauce

• 1 tsp white wine vinegar

• 2tbsp hoisin sauce

• 3 tbsp vegetable oil

• 1 tsp olive oil
