INGREDIENTS

Instructions

  1. Wash and clean shrimp, making sure they are all deveined and no shell is left on. Wash in juice of lemon with water. In a bowl combine all the dry seasonings and mix well. Pat dry with clean paper towel, season with most of dry seasoning combo, leaving about tsp., for later. Also save 1 tsp dry parsley for garnish when done. Heat 2 tbsp. olive oil in skillet on medium heat. In the meantime, start to boil water for pasta, cook using instructions on pack. When oil is heated, brown shrimp about 2 minutes on each side, do this in about 2 to 3 batches. When pasta is cooked, drain and run cold water on it so it does not continue to cook.( I also like to add a bit of olive oil on my cooked pasta after cooling it down with cold water, I feel this really helps preventing them from sticking together) When you are done with shrimp, set them aside , add the additional 1 tbsp olive oil in the skillet(do not clean it). Add the butter also and once the butter melts add the onions and garlic saute till soft about 3 minutes (and be sure to stir continuously) then add the bell peppers and continue to stir about another 3 minutes. Add flour and stir for about 4 minutes. Then add the milk and the grated parmesan cheese, Stir continuously about 2 minutes then turn the heat almost off, add the cooked pasta in as well as the shredded Parmesan and use a large fork or tongues and combine real well, once pasta and sauce is mixed together well, then add the shrimp in, turn off the heat and using same method, combined the shrimp in with the pasta and sauce.
