STEW JERK CHICKEN WINGS
Description
This is a stew chicken wings recipe, using the famous Jamaican Jerk marinade, which helps to elevate the flavor of this dish.Â

After removing the tip of each chicken wing, wash in water with lemon juice or white vinegar, make sure there are no feathers on chicken wings. In a bowl add jerk marinade, the soy sauce and all the dry seasonings and mix and combine well. Season chicken wings with marinade and diced onions and diced bell peppers. Using your hand rub seasonings well into the wings Cover and marinade for at least 30 minutes. Heat oil in skillet on medium low heat, shake excess seasonings off wings and brown on each side about 2 minutes, do this in batches. Add all the pieces back in the skillet and cover, cook slowly for 8 minutes, stirring every two minutes or so. After 8 minutes, add the diced bell peppers and onions in stir and combine well. Add brown sugar, ketchup, apple cider vinegar and ginger and stir to combine, cover, and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes or so, then add water, stir, and mix well. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
