Debbie Doyle’s Coconut Golden Tea

Are you struggling with falling asleep and staying asleep? Well if so this is what has been helping me, but the great things about this tea are the key ingredients that are #immuneboosters to help you build up your #immunity as well as #antiviral properties and other great #healthbenefits

I wrote this as a blog post instead of the recipe because it can be made to your liking. I just ask that you be careful with the #bayleaves as they too aid with sleep and can knock you out quickly and keep you asleep for some time.

So the ingredients for this great tea are fresh #turmeric(gated) #ginger (grated), #allspice berries, #cloves, #staranise #cinammonstick, and ground #nutmeg Final ingredient milk of choice. I use #coconutmilk.

How to

Bring milk to a low boil, then add cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, star anise, cloves, and allspice. Cook for 5 minutes being careful that the milk does not boil over After 5 minutes, turn off the heat, and add the ground turmeric and ginger as well as the ground cinnamon. Let sit until it is cool, strain and store into a mason jar. When I am drinking it I will add condensed milk to sweeten, you can use your sweetener of choice. I also add a small pinch of black pepper with every drink.
