tip for storing and using FRESH GINGER

One thing you can always find in my kitchen is ginger, I have ground organic ginger for cooking, but I also love fresh ginger for some recipes and especially for drinking. I am sure part of my Jamaican culture is the reason for this fact. I am sure you have heard the joke that Jamaicans cure everything with tea and that may have been meant to be a joke, but it is true. And one of my favorite is ginger tea with lemon.

I also love to add a bit of ginger with fresh lemon, or other fruits like watermelon, and pineapple in my drinking water as well. I do not wait until I am sick to do this, I use to help prevent me and my family from getting sick.

So here is my tip , I like to blend fresh ginger , I will freeze some of it w hile having some in the fridge to use for the next week. I also store the pulp in the freezer for cooking.
